This historic building will feature:

  • Enterprise Hub - Collaborative workspace for social enterprises and start-ups
  • Workshop & Event Spaces - Flexible areas for community workshops, meetings, and cultural events
  • Creative Studios - Affordable workspace for artists and makers
  • Community Garden - Outdoor growing spaces and green areas
  • Subsidised Café - Social gathering space with affordable refreshments

Using reclaimed materials, this sustainable, net-zero carbon space combines heritage conservation with cutting-edge sustainability. Part of the ReSpace Alliance network, all spaces operate on proven principles: accessible, collaborative, and designed to "reuse waste, reduce inequality, and rebuild community."

Support for community members looking to start university and improve their future prospects. SmartBee provides guidance through the entire application process, even for those without previous formal qualifications.

Assistance includes help with university applications, interview preparation, and support applying for Student Finance of up to 25,000 GBP per year. Flexible study options are available for evenings or weekends, with courses based in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds.
