About

Join us for the seventh instalment of the acclaimed Newham Plays series, written by James Kenworth and directed by Jade Ward McFarlane. You will be guided by three ghosts through a haunting Silvertown of slums, factories and hardship, journeying between past and present to uncover the inequalities that continue to shape lives today. Inspired by the 1889 Silvertown Strike led by Eleanor Marx and the restoration of the Tate Institute through the ReSpace Project, this production features a rebellious ending brought to life by a blend of professional artists and young local talent.

Experience powerful historical storytelling infused with contemporary theatrical energy and a pulsating techno and house soundtrack.

Tickets can be booked online, and we are also offering a set amount of free tickets per show specifically for Silvertown and North Woolwich residents.
