The Resilient Map: North Woolwich Mapping Project

Mapping North Woolwich Together

Jun 20
The Resilient Map: North Woolwich Mapping Project - Flyer

About

Join us for a pilot community mapping project to build a richer picture of North Woolwich from the ground up.

Help document the places, practices, and relationships that support local life. We are testing a new digital tool called Cartogrammm, which stands for maps made by many. Instead of a map made from above, this is a map built from your lived experience. You will be able to add images, notes, and tags as you move through the neighbourhood, capturing where you go, what you value, and what you imagine could change.

The project begins with an introductory workshop, followed by a period of mapping the area. We will then gather for a second session to reflect on what we have collected and what it reveals about the strengths of North Woolwich. You can learn more about the platform at cartogrammm.com/#resilient-map.

20 June, 15:00 - 17:00 / Introduction and mapping launch
04 July, 15:00 - 17:00 / Reflection and sharing session
