🪵 The Big Wood Sort - Flyer

About

We need your help to get closer to restoring the Tate Institute.

We've got plenty of reclaimed timber that needs sorting, and we know our incredible community has the power to make it happen. Every plank sorted and organised gets us one step closer to opening these historic doors.

Ready to get stuck in? Whether you can spare an hour or a whole day - we'd love to have you join us for this hands-on community event 🤝

Here's what you can help get us closer to restoring the Tate Institute:

  • 📏 Sorting timber by size, type, and condition
  • 🛡️ Helping cover and protect wood from the weather
  • 📐 Organising materials into designated storage areas
  • 💡 Sharing your ideas on better ways to sort and store
  • 🔍 Quality checking - spotting the best pieces for restoration

No experience needed - just bring your energy and we'll teach you the rest!

ℹ️ We'll provide gloves, but please wear sturdy shoes or boots.

Where: 1 Wythes Rd, London E16 2DN
