Using reclaimed materials, this sustainable, net-zero carbon space combines heritage conservation with cutting-edge sustainability. Part of the ReSpace Alliance network, all spaces operate on proven principles: accessible, collaborative, and designed to "reuse waste, reduce inequality, and rebuild community."

Come help us turn reclaimed pallets into planters for our community garden in Silvertown! Together, we'll create beautiful, sustainable planters that'll help ReNewland flourish for everyone to enjoy.
We'll take you through the whole process - from pulling apart pallets to building, decorating, and positioning your finished planters.
What you can get involved with:
🔨 Pulling apart pallets using provided tools
📐 Preparing and sorting wood for construction
🪴 Guided planter construction using sustainable methods
🎨 Decorating, positioning, and composting
When: Tuesday 9th September (10:30am-4:00pm)
Where: Meet at REinsTate - The Tate Institute, 1 Wythes Rd, E16 2DN (Then we'll walk approx 1 minute to ReNewland).
Cost: Free
Ages 12+: 12-16 must bring safety shoes/goggles and come with a guardian
We'll provide tools, snacks, and drinks for the day. Bring sturdy shoes (essential for safety), warm robust clothing that might get damaged, and goggles if you want to help with sawing.
All skill levels welcome - we'll match tasks to your experience and comfort level!
