About
Join us for a super community social, a chance to reclaim this shelter and reignite local social impact. A lot is changing in the area, and these everyday spaces for connecting have become harder to find. We are opening the Institute's doors for long-time residents and newcomers alike.
Expect music, friendly faces, and a proper neighbourly warmth. Feel free to bring a drink or a dish. This is your space to step inside, look around, and join the conversation about what you would love to see here. The council and make:good team will also be running a clothes swap and creative workshops concurrently, offering ways to contribute and share ideas about North Woolwich's future.
Come for five minutes or stay for the whole evening. This is an open invitation to connect with the people around you and see what becomes possible when a community shows up together.
There will be a hive of activity running along side the neigbour meet up, learn more here: https://reinstate.eventschedule.com/clothes-swap-meet-your-neighbours?date=2025-11-25
No ticket needed! Simply turn up!
